In 2015, in Besançon, he decided to create his own brand, Maison LORNET, a tribute to his cabinetmaker grandfather Claude Lornet. A Cartesian dreamer and Edward Scissorhands, Anthony Simao gradually focused on developing models, movements, and complications, aiming to perpetuate the excellence of watchmaking craftsmanship.

Design and architecture are intrinsic to his tropisms. Anthony Simao has a physical relationship with volume. He is in the making, and little by little, shifts into know-how. He decides to cultivate an exclusive dimension of watches where know-how prevails, with a human-scale and limited production. Nothing ostentatious, no overabundance of complications. Only function, design, and aesthetics prevail.

Today and tomorrow are one in the intimate and imaginary journeys of Anthony Simao.

Driven by his passion, he continues on his path. A cartographer of the imagination, he draws articulated volumes, new terrestrial and celestial territories. Each map becomes a fragment of an inner world to be discovered. Destination Saturn, with its spatial architectures at the edge of the solar system, Anthony places within us a tranquil majesty, a silent and eternal dance.
