Creation
The Lornet design is distinguished by its open architecture, highlighting the internal mechanism. Our designs create a unique connection with its owner. The balance wheel visible at 12 o'clock, the brand's signature, illustrates this desire for transparency and highlighting the mechanical heart of the watch.
Design
Each Lornet is born from a long design process, where aesthetic intention dialogues closely with mechanical rigor.
Our process begins with research & development phases, where ideas take shape through sketches and 3D models.
Using CAD tools, we develop each component internally, with a focus on technical optimization and visual balance.
The complexity of each model, from the volumes to the kinematics of the pushers, is anticipated from the outset, to guarantee perfect consistency between design, ergonomics and performance.
This demanding approach, fueled by passion and engineering, allows each Lornet creation to stand out from the very beginning.
Fabrications
Our manufacturing relies on traditional techniques, ensuring impeccable quality. Components are carefully machined, guaranteeing durability and reliability. From the cutting of the wheels to the handcrafting of the needles, including the galvanizing color treatments, everything is done in our workshops. This allows us a great deal of freedom for customization.
Decorations
Each piece is decorated by hand, giving each watch its own unique identity. Finishes, such as hand-beveling, rimming, sunburst, brushing, and sandblasting, are executed with meticulous attention to detail.
Watchmaking
Assembly is carried out in our workshops in La Ciotat, where each watch is meticulously pre-assembled, assembled, adjusted and tested, ensuring optimum quality before delivery.
